A Ventura pounds its target in this relatively rare depiction of action by Koike. The aircraft's sharp, smart lines are contrasted well by the fuzzy motion of the spray it has kicked up from the sea. Used in many roles by many countries, the PV-1 and its close successors were versatile workhorses that could bomb land and sea targets, lead bomber formations with their radar and more. Some versions mounted .50 cal. MGs in the nose and even HVAR rockets under the wings.
This print is recreated using offset printing on heavy art stock identical to that used by Koike for his originals. It is printed at 100% of the size of the original artwork, and all color reproduction has been approved by Koike personally. Ships flat.
