If you're going to paint a P-38, you can't go wrong painting one of the aircraft of Richard Bong, America's top ace of WWII. Bong was probably the first man to ever use an actual photograph -- of course of his wife Marge -- for his nose art, and that's faithfully reproduced in this fine Koike rendition.
This print is recreated using offset printing on heavy art stock identical to that used by Koike for his originals. It is printed at 100% of the size of the original artwork, and all color reproduction has been approved by Koike personally. Ships flat.
